How do you describe your style ?
I try my hardest not to fall into a style. I love to try new materials and combine styles. I also like to simplify, take away as much as possible and focus on the essential parts of the picture.

Where does your inspiration and idea come from?
I get a lot of inspiration from films and art books. Music is another great source of inspiration. I like artists like Edward Hopper, Andy Warhol and David Hockney.

What are your favorite medium ?
I have to answer acrylic on canvas to that... altough I most often use my computer. (Mac G5 and Illustrator)

What do you prefer illustrating ?
People, people and houses... but I want my pictures to have a motion.

Which works have you satisfied the most ?
I did a couple of exhibition books for "the silver museum" in Arjeplog, Sweden. I was Art-directing and almost had unlimited budget. It was really fantastic to just be able to focus on making a really good job.

Who are your favorite graphic designers, illustrators and websites?
Hipgnosis - Fantastic recordsleeves. Rodchenko russian futuristic design. I like many of the Bauhaus designers like Joost Schmidt and Herbert Bayer.
Some of my favourite Illustrators are Joe Sorren, Bo Lundberg, Jane Bark and Paul Davis.

Two exhibitions comming up. In september I'm exhibiting paintings in a gallery in Piteå and in November they will hang in a gallery in Stockholm. So I have a couple of paintings to do.
